I cannot tell you much of anything about this yarn other than the fact that both my mother and her mother (my grandmother) both did a lot of Knitting, Sewing, Crochet, Quilt making, etc. this is not a full spool it is gold in color with a white yarn wrapped around the gold yarn. The yarn was bought and used in the late 40s to the early 50s. I do not know the maker or any of the other details about the yarn. I do not Sewing, Crochet, or make Quilt. I do not know how much is left on the spool. The total diameter is 3” x3” and the spool diameter is 2”x 2” so the yarn is half of an inch thick on the spool if that helps you to determine how much yarn is left.
