This patchwork style leather ensemble was designed by Roberto Cavalli in the late 1970's or early 1980's. This leather pant suit is made of an ultra soft, lightweight leather in a variety of shades of blue. There are also some patches that have been hand painted with flowers in orange, burgundy red, and forest green.

The jacket is an open front kimono style with side slit pockets and short dolman sleeves. The high waisted pants are in a lightweight supple blue leather with front pleats. The waistband is secured with a button closure and metal zipper in the front and the back of the pants have darts along the waistband and legs that slightly taper towards the ankles.
